We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and share information.

Where necessary we include certain legal language in our Policy but aim to make this Policy transparent and easy to digest. In this Policy, “we” or ViewTransitSchedules refers to ViewTransitSchedules and its officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives, internal operating units, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, sublicensees, successors and assigns.
1. The Information We Collect
Website: When you visit our Website, we collect the following personally identifiable information (“PII”):
- Your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, non-precise geolocation (city, state, zip code), operating system, device identifiers, and information about how you navigate sites and links you click.
- Search information. You may enter search search terms to play games. We process these search queries to for this purpose only. We delete your search history once the result you seek is generated. We do not use search-query data for analytics, marketing, behavioral profiling, or advertising. We also do not disclose search-query information to third parties, except to limited service providers who act solely on our behalf and are required to delete this data. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use any user search query data for targeted advertising.
Browser Extension: We collect the following PII if you download our Browser Extension:
- Your IP address, browser type, device details, cookies or other tracking data, user agent, and a unique user identifier generated by the host application, from which we may infer non-precise geolocation (e.g., city, state, or ZIP code).
- The browser extension also collects information about the websites you visit (which may contain search queries), including website page titles and descriptions, your interactions with advertising (like impressions, clicks, and conversions), and identifiers such as IP address, user agent/unique ID. This information helps us analyze patterns across browsing sessions to deliver targeted advertising and create profiles for targeted advertising and service improvement.
- We also may use the information above to provide you with relevant sponsored content. If you would like to opt out of Sponsored Content, just refer to the instructions on our “how to use” page under the section “How it works” > “Disabling sponsored content.”
- While we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, we recognize that search queries may sometimes contain incidental personal or sensitive information. These processes may create persistent profiles of user behavior, which we use for ad delivery, analytics, and to enhance the overall performance of our Service.
- We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as social security numbers, biometric data, or financial data.

2. Use of Your Personal Information
We use your PII for a host of legitimate business reasons. Specifically, we use PII to improve your user experience, including the performance of our computer servers. We also use PII to administer our Services, including to deliver personalized search results based on our analysis of your search queries. We may also use your PII to analyze trends, track Website visits, and gather other broad demographic information to assist us in identifying user preferences. All of this information helps us improve our content and advertising, as well as to develop analytics and reporting to support our operations.

In such cases, personal information may be among the assets transferred, and we will ensure that any successor entity continues to handle your personal information in accordance with this Policy or provides you with notice and an opportunity to exercise your rights before any material changes take effect.

4. Children’s Privacy
Anyone under 16 is prohibited from using the Services, and we do not knowingly collect PII from anyone under 16. If you are under 16, you must discontinue using the Services immediately. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected any PII from a user under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete that PII. If you are a parents or guardian who believes we may have such information, please contact us immediately.
5. Where We Process Your Information
We are located in the United States and process any PII in the United States. We retain collected data only so long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was provided, or as long as is reasonably necessary for our legitimate business purposes. We may retain your information for longer periods if required by law, or in relation to legal claims.
Please note that while we will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your PII, we cannot confirm that these efforts will be sufficient to protect against all efforts to gain unauthorized access to your PII.
6. Your Privacy Rights
The privacy rights applicable to you may vary depending on where you live. These rights may include the right to:
- Access – You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of PI we collect, use, disclose, and share, as well as the business purposes for our collection and use of that information;
- Correction – You may request that we correct any PII that we have that is inaccurate or outdated;
- Deletion – You may request that we delete PII we maintain about you, subject to applicable legal limitations;
- Portability – if it is reasonable under applicable laws for us to do so, you may request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format and, in certain cases, ask that we transmit it to another data controller;
- Limit, restrict, object to, or opt out of processing or selling – You may request that we stop or limit how we process your data, including limiting the use of sensitive personal information, and opt out of the selling of your personal information. Also under California law, you also have the right to direct us not to “share” your personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes at any time. In other U.S. states, similar opt-out rights may apply where our activities fall within the concept of a “sale” of personal information. Rights Vary under Applicable Laws
Before processing or granting any request, we are required to confirm that the right being exercised is available under applicable law, as certain rights may apply only to residents of specific jurisdictions. Only you or a person authorized to act on your behalf may submit a verifiable request related to your personal information. To ensure security, we must verify your identity and confirm the personal information associated with you, which may require additional details depending on the type of request. We may use a third-party verification service to assist in this process.
We cannot process or respond to a request if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to you. Depending on the jurisdiction, limitations may apply to how often access requests can be submitted within a 12-month period, and we may have the right to decline requests that are unfounded, excessive, or otherwise not considered reasonable within that jurisdiction’s standards. For example, under California law you may only make a verifiable consumer request for Access twice within a 12-month period. If we deny your request, we will explain the reason and provide information about any rights to appeal. We strive to respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
